Ben was raised in Bradley, Maine, and graduated from Old Town High School in 2005. He then served as a United States Marine and was awarded the Purple Heart after sustaining several injuries while deployed to Iraq. After the military, Ben returned to Maine where he married his wife, Michelle, and studied engineering at the University of Maine. After graduating with Bachelor’s in Surveying Engineering Technology in 2014, he completed his apprenticeship and earned his Maine Professional Land Surveyors License in 2018. Ben has been with Herrick & Salsbury, Inc. since 2016 and enjoys hunting, fishing, keeping bees, and generally being outdoors. He and Michelle now have two daughters, Grace and Leah, a Black Lab named Gunner, and a Golden Retriever named Molly.
